Qatar 2022!!

Welcome back everybody. I know it's been awhile since I have posted, but I am back and will try and post at least two times every week. For this post, I want to talk about Qatar 2022 which is only about 2 months away. With another round of international matches done and dusted, the time for countries to prepare their squads for the World Cup is fast diminishing. As a Three Lions fan, I have been waiting for Qatar ever since the end of the Euros and I'm hoping that Harry Kane and the boys can lead England to its first World Cup victory since 1966. However, the England tune-ups have made me think otherwise. The defense looks very scattered and the midfield needs to be developed more. Most importantly, I do not agree with Southgate backing Maguire to be on the England team. This year and last, he has been absolutely atrocious. His awareness on the ball has severely diminished and his pace is close to 0. The tune-ups have not been convincing and I'm hoping that Gareth Southgate can turn around this England squad and make them favorites for Qatar. Qatar 2022, here we come!
