Should the IPL be Played?

Well everyone, the IPL will resume on the 19th in the UAE. Because of the COVID situation in India, the IPL was postponed and then moved to the UAE where it will be finished. However, the timing of the IPL restart is very inconvenient as the IPL is scheduled to end just nine before the start of the T20 World Cup. Players will be tired, and might not even want to play in the T20 World Cup. It is a shame the IPL is choosing this timing as it does not show a consideration for the players, their health, and fitness. I do not think the IPL should be restarted this year. Players will not be interested and it shows a disregard for their health. Hopefully everyone will be fit and ready for the T20 World Cup once the IPL ends because that will be a huge spectacle... the pinnacle of T20 cricket.
