The Death of a Cricketing Great
One of the greatest cricket players ever died today due to a heart attack. He was only 52, leaving the cricketing world speechless and a state of mourning. Shane Warne was one of the best, if not the best, spinner to ever play the game. He single handedly revitalized the art of leg spin and was a key figure in Australia's test dominance in the 1990's and early 2000's. Shane Warne bowled the ball of the century where he completely dumfounded England Batsman Mike Gatting. After retiring from cricket, Shane Warne was a commentator where he provided his incredible insight into the game of cricket. Although Shane Warne may not have been the best figure of the cricketing pitch, he was a master on the pitch and left a long lasting mark on Australian, and world cricket. Goodbye Warnie, you will be missed.
