The Three Point Revolution
In the last decade, the amount of three point shots taken in the NBA has drastically risen. For decades, the mid range shot was a players three point shot. Now, a wide open three point shot is the equivalent to a layup. Most centers now have a decently consistent three point shot. NBA players like the great Stephen Curry have revolutionized the three point. Steph has to be guarded well behind the three point line. The NBA is slowly transitioning to a game run by the long distance shot. Whether this is a good or bad thing will be revealed in a few years.
