What is Going on with Australia?

West Indies have beaten Australia in a T20 series between the two. It was a best of five series and with just three games have being played, West Indies have taken the series. West Indies is a very good side. Bravo, Gayle, Russell, Hetmyer, and Pooran are all players who play in the IPL. West Indies also has a decent bowling attack with Cottrell leading the way along with Holder. They also have a lot of young bowlers and spinners who have really proven themselves in this series. Having said this, I am shocked Australia did not take at least a game or two. Lets take a look at what is going with the Australian side.

For starters, their captain (Aaron Finch) is washed and should not be captaining the side. I would even go as far as to say he needs to be dropped from the squad. Without Pat Cummins in the side, Australia have little bowling threat. Mitchell Starc is the only other bowler who can cause problems for the opposing batsmen. If we go down the Aussie order, there is no one who has a reputation which means there is not a player, more importantly, batsmen who can change the game. I mean cmon.... Moises Henriques? Seriously??? Ashton Turner?? Who in the world is he? Australia needs to find some talent or player with poise who can take over the T20 side and turn it around. There needs to be a coaching change which means Justin Langer, the head coach, needs to be sacked. Right now, the Australian T20 team's future looks pretty bleak and I do not think they have a shot to even make a deep run in the upcoming T20 World Cup. This is a nation with great cricketing pedigree. It is a shame to see it struggling like it is right now. There is still time to turn it around... I just hope the Australian cricket board sees the problems and realizes that changes need to be made
